A classic combo for cold weather style are knits and denim and for good reason. These two styles will get the job done and keep you warm but offer a classic and effortless sense of chicness with some added accessories.
Camel is the color of the Fall season and really can work well with a number of color combinations but I chose to keep the look feminine, warm and moody by adding a dark lip and handbag and closed it out with a classic leopard print pumps.
I thought of Brigitte Bardo and how her sexy Parisian style really consisted of simple and practical pieces. She obviously had the skill to wear anything and make it an instant classic. Lately I’ve been finding pieces just like that to add to my wardrobe from River Island.
For a busty woman like myself I think a well fitting turtleneck is more flattering than a bulky knit. I don’t want to lose myself or shape in my clothing and this sweater from River Island gives me the fit that works well for my body.
When shopping at River Island online I always like to check out their main range along with their plus offerings. You never know what fabrics and cuts will end up working for you. For instance, this turtleneck is actually from their main range and is advertised as an oversized sweater. I’m wearing a large but on my body it fits snug which was my desired look.
