Showin Out

A few weeks ago I attended a fashion show sponsored by Anne Grimsley of Jacksonville’s AMG Uptown Salon.  The show featured fashions for men and women in regular and plus size styles from local and international designers as well as some of my favorite looks from Ashley Stewart.  The show was hosted by the fabulous Dwight Eubanks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and all ticket proceeds were to support HIV/AIDS Testing and Awareness.  Everyone looked great and came to show out!

Jacksonville Jaguar’s Jeremy Mincey even walked down the runway!

My look for the night featured a dress that I bought from the Dillard’s outlet for only $4.99!  The dress was way to big but I figured I could get more out of the material.  The price was such a steal I couldn’t pass it up.  I ended up taking it to my seamstress who converted the oversized sheath dress into a trendy cropped top pairing.

My makeup was done by Carmelita Rowell mentored by Darnell Lanier of MAC – Jacksonville and my accessories were from Erica Williams of Grade A+ Fashions.
