I’d like to think of myself as the Queen of Cozy at my home. You should too and with loungewear being the outfit choice for so many of us this past year having more options goes a long way.
Earlier this year Athleta announced the extension of their line to include sizes 1X to 3X (18-26) and I couldn’t be more excited.
As a plus size consumer, I’ll always want more options of everything so I’m definitely happy to hear of a brand being more size inclusive and want to give it a try and report back to you all everything you need to know.
Back in January when they first launched, Athleta‘s assortment for the extended size range included over 350 styles both online and instore which is pretty impressive. That number increases to 500 styles this week with new styles being added every month. Yay!
So what about the fit?
Athleta did their homework and worked with women that truly wore sizes 1X-3X to get the fit just right. They tested and would refit to make sure the performance and feel was right for all women. I’m so down with that.
I’m wearing a 3X in the Balanced Printed Sweatshirt and Jogger for an oversized feel. It’s perfectly roomy for cozy fit but I would size down for a more fitted look.
