TRUE STORY: I’m 34 years old and my mother still reminds me to eat my veggies.
I have a pretty good excuse.
To be honest with my crazy schedule, a lot of meals are made (or purchased) out of convenience and don’t always have the daily serving of fruit or veggies.
I hate eating breakfast and find myself skipping and starving come lunch time so I figured a way that I can address these two issues by making a green smoothie that I can whip up in a flash and it doesn’t taste like 🤮
It’s never too late to start making better decisions.
So without further ado here is my Daily Green Smoothie.
Make my mom and your mom proud.
INGREDIENTS
8oz. water
1 cup of fresh spinach
1/2 of a frozen banana
4 slices of cucumber
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple or mango
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 teaspoon of spirulina
1 serving of Vital Protein Unflavored Collagen Powder
BLEND WATER & SPINACH FIRST
I like blending the water and spinach together first because it helps keep the smoothie, well, smooth.
ADD FROZEN BANANA + PINEAPPLE + CUCUMBERS
ADD CHIA SEEDS
ADD SPIRULINA + COLLAGEN
BLEND ON HIGH (10 on VITAMIX) FOR 1 MINUTE
POUR IT UP AND …
