Grey + Tangerine

I’m constantly thinking about styling pieces that I have in my closet so I don’t repurchase something that I already have.  This means I will randomly compile a look while I’m in at the grocery store, at the bank, sitting at the drive thru or even at work.

So when inspiration hits I have to jot down on a post it sticky, a napkin or the back of my hand, the pieces of the look I see in my head so I don’t forget.  I have lots of random pieces of paper with my scribble on them.  Thank goodness I can make out my excited chicken scratch.

I was inspired to create this look literally from the bottom up.

I remembered I had received these sky high wedges from ShoeDazzle with an orange floral print mixed with grey and lavender.  I thought it was an interesting combo of colors so I decided to pull them each out and allow them to stand on their own with items I already had in my closet.

I love when you can shop your own closet and come up with a completely new look!

I don’t think grey and tangerine ever looked so good.  What do you think?  Do you dig this color combo?
