Do you Tutu?

Well do you?  The tutu trend seems to have taken over the plus size fashion scene in the last few years.

 And although some may be tired of seeing big girls in even bigger poufs of tulle I couldn’t be happier to see women of all sizes embrace the power of the tutu.

I’ve loved a tutu since I can remember.  So go ahead and roll your eyes you tutu haters because here’s another fashion post of a big girl in a tutu. 

A tutu gives me all the feels that I want when and love about getting dressed up.

First off it automatically gives you princess vibes.  I could close my case on that point alone but there is more…

I feel pretty.

I feel elegant.

I feel like a cupcake and let’s be honest who doesn’t like a good cupcake.

This tutu from Cool Gal Blue is a pretty pale pink and depending on how you style the color of the tutu it can appear more blush or rose, which I love about this lush skirt.

It’s fully lined so no unintentional peekaboo hips and thighs and hits right at the knee.  This skirt is really poufy so definitely be aware that you’re kinda going to a be a big deal wearing this thing.

I styled my look with modern sophistication in mind.  A floral print blouse and rose gold sling backs make this skirt daytime wearable but for a more casually glam look wear this skirt with a white tank i.e.. Carrie Bradshaw style for a classic, iconic and fun look.

This tutu comes in sizes 1x-6x so it covers just about all my curvy girls out there.  I can’t wait to see you in your tutus ladies and keep an eye out!
