One trend that is making a big splash this summer is off-the-shoulder tops and dresses. I love seeing the modest amount of bare skin with a beautiful ruffled neckline but it’s been tough trying to find the right one that works for my body type.
I don’t really like to show off my shoulders because I have indentations on them from bra straps being well endowed in the chest area.
Nevertheless, I was determined to find a happy medium where I could wear the trend and still be comfortable in my own skin.
This floral off-the-shoulder midi is very me and it incorporated the trend without me looking silly or trying too hard.
Trends will come and go and you might feel as a consumer pressured to buy and wear something that’s not you because it’s in. At the end of the day you have to be true to yourself.
Self awareness and confidence are timeless and will always be in style.
