Spring in My Step

We’re on the brink people!  I can see it!  Spring is almost here and it’s has me walking with a little extra bounce in my step. 

Keeping it casually chic may pose a challenge if you’re plus.  I feel as a community we tend to be more maximalist with our fashion choices – needing the extra pop and circumstance of an outfit to make ourselves look stylish.

Don’t get me wrong I love that pop and circumstance just because that’s me by nature but there is also this minimalist side of me that wants to look effortlessly chic without having my outfit announce it for me.

Shopping at Charlotte Russe allows me to do just that!  That means throwing on a pair of boyfriend jeans and a tunic and still feel like I’m wearing a ball gown.

But one thing is for sure weather I’m going for a minimalist or maximalist look I like to have a little height and these lace up sandals are perfect with their chunky 3 inch  heel.  The functional and fashionable heel gives me the extra spring in my step without risking a sprained ankle.
