Creating a Boho Inspired Patio Space with Bed Bath & Beyond

With most of us spending a lot more time in our homes it’s natural to want to create a space you really love to live in.

Since buying my first home, I’ve spent a lot of time and money trying to create a beautiful indoor living space.

But then quarantine happened …

and all of a sudden I didn’t want to see inside of home anymore.  Anyone else?

We all have this intense desire to be outside now that we’ve been social restricted from, well everything.

Over the last 4 months I’ve wanted to refocus my design attention from the interior of my home to creating a beautiful outdoor living space.   After all, your backyard is an extension of what’s on the inside.

I’m so incredibly thankful that Bed Bath & Beyond wanted to help me create something special.  They have everything I needed to create a boho inspired oasis from furniture, planters, to glassware.

I wanted something chic, warm and cozy but also modern and sophisticated.  This space was designed with entertaining in mind so I knew I had to have great seating options.

Bed Bath & Beyond had so many options to choose from but I ended up going with this teakwood three seater sofa.  It’s perfect as a gathering spot for friends or to stretch out and relax solo.

The main area is centered with this modern and natural concrete coffee table.  It’s large enough to be used for entertaining and eating.  The wooden legs also look really great with the natural woven rug.

I wanted to bring more natural elements to this space and knew I needed rattan something so I was so excited to find this rattan chair with matching benches.

Extra touches of coziness were added with a textured throw blanket and pillows break up all the neutrals and add earth tones and colors.

These beautiful stone planters were the perfect way to show off my plant children.

I absolutely loved how this space turned out and seriously can’t believe I got it all in one spot at Bed Bath & Beyond.  I will definitely be enjoying some summer nights in my new backyard boho space and looking forward to when I can safely have my friends and family over.
